Performs evaluation and testing of UAV hardware in a ROR environment to include mechanical assembly and disassembly, electrical assembly and disassembly. Specific duties vary by workload and may cover a wide range of assembly techniques including composite and structural repairs. Maintains good housekeeping, safety standards and calibration requirements. Works under the direction of the Lead Technician in order to accomplish goals.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, procedures and engineering drawings and specifications. Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques. Ability to use precision measuring and layout tools. Ability to use and apply basic math skills. Knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical and hydraulic assembly techniques. Knowledge of military and commercial quality specifications is a plus. Ability to use common hand and power tools. Ability to set-up and operate torque equipment basic electrical equipment. Ability to work independently and in a team must also be a self-motivated. Strong personal computer skills desired. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.


Required Experience
Requires a high school diploma. Prefer two years of directly related experience, or equivalent education or experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties. This position will be exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds amount of force constantly to move objects. Visual requirements is the minimum standard for those whose work deals largely with visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, operation of machines, and assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
