ILS Manager (5950)
Tracking Code 5950 * Coordinate and/or perform integrated logistics support services for one or more programs, and/or proposals. * Logistics support services include: Publications, Training, Provisioning, Human Factors, Safety, Reliability, Maintainability, System Support Analysis, Spares/Repair Parts, and Packaging and Storage Requirements. * Prepares, directs, coordinates and monitors the logistic portion of assigned programs. * Determines support requirements for preventive and corrective maintenance of complex products in specific areas of technical specialization or new and unique technology. * Participates with engineering to assure that maximum level of maintainability consistent with design integrity and specifications is incorporated into products. * Analyze and direct training and logistic program(s) cost status and accounting efforts. * Prepare and present training and logistics program capabilities and services to customers. * Prepare and coordinate preparation of proposals; provide technical and cost support for negotiations. * Participate with Engineering and other functional areas to assure that * Logistics requirements are considered and effectively integrated during all project phases as required. * Must be willing to travel occasionally to customer and remote field locations. Skills / Requirements
* Strong knowledge of Logistics Program functions and organization. * Knowledge of DOD logistics elements and element inter-relationships, supportability/task analysis, technical publications, required contents/preparation processes. * Personal computer skills. (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, dbase) * Leadership and team building skills. * Demonstrated financial cost analysis skills. * Effective written and oral communication skills. * Ability to plan, organize and schedule. * Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance. Required Experience Typically requires a minimum of five years related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent education or experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties. Previous experience in military systems, aircraft, electronics, UAS and/or aviation maintenance/support/training management is highly desired. We Value Diversity!
