Performing testing and troubleshooting to the component level of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies. Test program development of simple to low complexity assemblies. Ability to apply solid state applications, operations, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to operate test equipment such as: ohmmeters, digital voltmeters, generators, counters, oscilloscopes, and personal computers. Knowledge and familiarity with Unmanned Air Vehicle and Ground Support Equipment testing a plus. Programming knowledge of 'C' or BASIC a plus. Mechanical aptitude a plus.

State of the art knowledge of electronics-both digital logic and analog basics. Basic personal computer skills. Ability to operate test equipment and build test tools. Knowledge of test practices and procedures. Ability to read/interpret schematics, assembly drawings, parts lists and wire data lists. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to solder and perform wire wrapping. Ability to understand component specifications. Knowledge of Ohm's law, analog, digital and RF circuitry, along with microprocessor and signal bus theory. Other Requirements: Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd Shift if necessary to support workload requirements. Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.


Required Experience
Minimum of four years experience with an Associates Degree from an accredited school in Electronic Technology or eight year experience with a High School diploma, or equivalent education. Programming course in 'C' or Visual BASIC. Technical certificate from trade school, military, or community college preferred.
