Aaron Matos, PHR, is the founder and chief executive officer of Jobing.com (www.jobing.com), a two-time Inc. 500 fastest-growing company, and a leading media provider of locally-focused online job search, recruiting, and talent management solutions designed to connect local employers and job seekers.

The idea for Jobing.com began back in 1999 when Aaron, while serving as corporate director of human resources for a Phoenix, Arizona-based publishing and media company, realized that recruiting local talent quickly and cost efficiently was a daunting task. He understood that there was a phenomenal opportunity to leverage the reach, ease-of-use and cost-effectiveness of the Internet. Committed to the belief that the success of an organization is directly dependent on hiring great people, Aaron focused his efforts on building a Web site that would solely serve the local marketplace and, in late 1999, Jobing.com was born as a division of his employer’s publishing organization.

In early 2000, the Jobing.com site was launched in Phoenix, and during the summer of 2001, Jobing.com LLC was formed and sold from its parent publishing group to become an independent company with private equity backing. Today, through new market start-ups, strategic acquisitions and unparalleled client service, Aaron leads a multi-million dollar enterprise which serves communities in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas and employs over 250 individuals covering a variety of sales, support and technology positions.

A recognized expert on Internet recruiting, employment branding, and recruitment advertising, Aaron holds a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. Aaron is certified as a Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute, is a master graduate of Rapport Leadership International and was named a named a top Young Entrepreneur by bizAZ Magazine.

As a fervent advocate for community support and service, Aaron has dedicated extensive company resources to enhance the efforts of Jobing.com’s various community partners. He has also played an integral role in establishing a network of Web sites to support and connect local chapters of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the world's largest association devoted to human resource management, and has served on the board of directors of the Arizona SHRM State Council and the SHRM Area VI board of directors.
