Responsible for all regulatory related reporting to payroll i.e.) state, federal, local, UI and sometimes new hire. Also responsible for running the payroll and all related balancing duties. Supervises Payroll team. Performs various journal entries, account reconciliations, and provides General Ledger support. Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) for management. Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws. Skills / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field. Planning and organization: an ability to plan and manage multiple projects. Strong customer orientation. Strong attention to detail. Problem analysis and problem resolution. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High performance teams and a strong team player. Computer proficiency: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Lawson is preferred. Type
