Job: Quality Engineer

Baltimore, MD design and manufacturing company seeking a highly motivated individual to become part of our dynamic team as a Quality Engineer. This position will be responsible for providing quality engineering support on design and development programs. They will also help develop and maintain our Quality Manager System (AS-9100) to assure that all products manufactured by the company meet customer’s specifications and achieve established quality and reliability standards.

Position Requirements:
- 5-10 years experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Extensive knowledge of AS-9100 and all applicable military inspection and quality standards
- Fluent in root cause analysis and the 5 Why approach
- Experience in the use of quality measurement equipment, including CMM’s
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Must have working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, calibration standards, and corrective action systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare and present professional presentations in a customer setting
- Ability to obtain classified information clearance
