Job: Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will work closely with and under the direction of the Vice President, Physician Delivery Systems and Maryland Family Care to provide administrative and operational support and oversight to the physician practices within Mercy Health Services, Physician Patient Accounting, as well as the VP and Sr. VP, Physician Delivery Systems.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must possess at least five (5) years of related experience in healthcare with at least three (3) years supervisory experience in the physician practice setting.& Must possess a keen customer service orientation; strong interpersonal, teambuilding, organizational, and analytical skills; sound knowledge of Medical Terminology; CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS coding; as well as thorough knowledge of current trends and requirements in various aspects of the healthcare industry. Strong working knowledge of the Medic Practice Management System and Microsoft Office is essential. Regular hours will be day-shift hours. Willingness and availability to work beyond regular working hours will be required to meet responsibilities and to attend meetings and functions.
