Job: Director of Child Care Center

The Grace Church Child Care Center has been providing outstanding care and education to the children of Elkridge and the surrounding community for over 30 years. We accept children from 6 weeks through 5 years old for child care and ages 3 and 4 for preschool. We also offer a summer program for children entering first through fourth grades. The center provides child care and preschool for approximately 72 and 90 children respectively. We are looking for an experienced director who meets the state-required criteria and brings sufficient education and experience to a center of our size.

The Director, who works with an Assistant Director, is responsible for all aspects of operating the Child Care Center successfully. Among her/his essential duties and responsibilities, the director is expected to: plan and supervision of children's programs; conduct periodic review of curriculum; supervise the staff, including hiring, firing and conducting performance reviews; be available to staff, parents, and children; meet periodically with Child Care Advisory Board of the Church; provide financial oversight, including the preparation of the annual budget.
