Mechanical Engineer in the Test & EW Systems business area reporting to the Project Engineer. Responsible for designing mechanical assemblies to interface with aircraft surfaces and other hard-points to provide a consistent mechanical and electrical/RF interface to the aircraft system under test. Includes specification of materials, component packaging, and design for harsh military environments.

Knowledgeable in engineering design principles and utilization of various manufacturing methods and material properties. Must be able to communicate designs through CAD 3-D models, formal engineering drawings, parts lists, and specifications. Must demonstrate professional interface skills and have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with engineering, test, manufacturing, suppliers, military customers, and logistics personnel. Knowledge of Oracle ERP (ARMS) system a plus and good personal computer skills are required, including Microsoft Office. Must be willing to work on schedule based programs. Some travel may be required. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain / maintain a government security clearance.


Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in related discipline required. Must have experience with CAD mechanical design packages and 3-D modeling tools, preferably Unigraphics.
