Department: Women's Imaging
Schedule: Regular Full-time Shift: Day Shift Hours: - High school diploma or equivalent is required - Customer service skills are required - Experience is required The Patient Service Associate-Team Leader manages front desk operations under the direction of the Administrative Coordinator and the Practice Director , including but not limited to: scheduling patients; answering phones; scanning medical records; triage patient phone calls for severity/importance, assisting billing with collection of payments; collection of insurance information and verification of benefits; reviews with Front Desk all patient concerns from comment cards, surveys, and observations from supervisors; maintaining adequate level of supplies for entire office; and all other duties as assigned. Skills / Requirements
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must posses working knowledge of physician practice operations and understanding of basic scheduling and order entry procedures. Must possess three to five (3-5) years of front desk medical office experience. Radiology practice experience a plus. Knowledge of how to use the scheduling, registration and order entry modules in the computer system preferred. Must possess typing, scheduling, and customer service skills.
