Performs evaluation and testing of UAV hardware in a ROR environment to include electrical assembly and disassembly. Specific duties vary by workload and may cover a wide range of assembly techniques. Maintains good housekeeping, safety standards and calibration requirements. Works under the direction of the Lead Technician in order to accomplish goals.

Ability to read and comprehend simple and complex instructions, procedures and engineering drawings and specifications. Knowledge of electrical principles and assembly techniques. Knowledge of AAI and manufacturing policies and procedures to include ESD, soldering and cable and harness procedures desired. Knowledge of Mechanical, and Electro-Mechanical a plus. Ability to use precision measuring equipment. Ability to use and apply basic math skills. Knowledge of military and commercial quality specifications. Ability to set-up and operate torque equipment, pressure devices, all electrical fabrication equipment and electrical test equipment. Ability to work independently and in a team must also be self-motivated. Ability to read schematics, wire data lists and assembly drawings. This position will be exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds amount of force constantly to move objects. Visual requirements is the minimum standard for those whose work deals largely with visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, operation of machines, and assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.


Required Experience
Typically requires four years experience with a high school diploma, or equivalent education or experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties. Technical certificate from trade school, military or community college a plus. US citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be willing to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
