Participates in and may be responsible for requirements analysis, preliminary planning, execution and support of Unmanned Aircraft Systems programs. This position is a member of the Specialty Engineering department that is responsible for Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Logistics, Safety and Human Factors engineering functions. This position will provide multiple programs engineering support including: parts provisioning and sparing, LRU identification, level of repair analysis, logistics supportability analysis, risk analysis, maintenance planning, cost as an independent variable, and Life Cycle Cost estimates. Position will be responsible for working with design and systems engineers to ensure logistics concerns are addressed early in the design cycle. This position may also be responsible for evaluating and supporting programs undergoing upgrades and field retrofits by reviewing plans for changes and ensuring logistics requirements are documented and addressed. This position may identify the data to be captured in a Logistics Management Information database and will be responsible for providing some of the required inputs.

Good interpersonal skills are required along with the ability to interface with all levels of the AAI and customer organization. Must have the ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of items to determine creative solutions that not only solve the issue, but also fit into the big picture of the program. Personal computer skills. (e.g., word processing, spread sheet, presentation graphics, databases). Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to secure and maintain a US Security clearance.

Required Experience Bachelors Degree from an accredited school in Engineering, Physics or related field. At least 5 years related experience required. Knowledge of 1388-2B logistics requirements. Previous experience on new or engineering development programs a plus. Other Specialty Engineering experience is a plus.
